Learn Lots of Words Before Kindergarten

You are your child’s first and best teacher. Your child was born ready to learn. Inside that cute little head is a powerful brain just waiting to listen to stories, hear songs, and start to learn words.

​Words are the first building blocks of learning. Incorporate lots of talking in daily activities: count the apple slices as you put them on a plate… recite nursery rhymes during bath time… turn off the TV and read a story or two at bed time.
